They welcome back Leon Yuen, who will be on the harmonica. Celebrate the Hari Raya holidays with them tonight Wednesday, 10 April 2024. A rising star in the Malaysian jazz scene, Leon is set to dazzle us with his mesmerising harmonica melodies. He has won first place at the 2018 Jazz Talent Competition and secured the runner-up position at the 5th Seoul Harmonica Festival in 2017. Make sure to catch singer-songwriter Lyn Wen on stage, this Thursday, 11 April 2024. At the youthful age of 23, Lyn Wen is a true musical talent, who has always had a flair for a tune. Evolving her style over time, she delved into the soulful rhythm of jazz, where she had the privilege to learn from and collaborate with renowned jazz icons such as Michael Veerapen and David Soh. With Michael Veerapen (piano), Cliff Wong (drums) and YHFoo (bass).
Join them this weekend to celebrate Hari Raya with talented guest vocalist, Joshua Gui, on Friday and Saturday 12 and 13 April 2024. Joshua is best known for his portrayal of 'Jason' in 'Sepet The Musical,' based on the late Yasmin Ahmad's acclaimed film. He was also part of the Malaysian team that performed a local original musical by Onn San (a nominee for Best Composer in the Golden Horse Award) at New York's Theatre Barn in 2014.
