Agis Kania (Agis Kania Kusumadewi) is a woman of Sundanese, Chinese and Indian descent. Born in Sukabumi on August 7th, 1987, Agis (her nickname) grew up in a musical family. Since her childhood throughout her college years, she regularly won singing competitions, at both regional and national levels. While she was only in high school, Agis sang and recorded the anthem of her hometown Sukabumi (a Sundanese pop tune) which eventually became iconic there.
